Zigong city has two famous cultural industry–manufacturing of animatronic dinosaur and Chinese festival lantern.

Zigong has a history of traditional lanterns making since the Tang dynasty (1300-1100 years ago). In the 1980s, we started to apply modern mechanical and electric technology on these traditional items and developed modern large scale festival lanterns.

With the development of the Chinese economic, the demand for cultural products grows rapidly, Zigong lantern festival turns to be famous and popular by audiences all over China. It helps Zigong city get the name — “City of Lanterns”.

As we mentioned Zigong city also famous for dinosaurs. It has one of the biggest dinosaur fossil sites in the world–mainly dinosaur and other vertebrates fossils in the Jurassic period. We built one of the biggest dinosaur museums at the site. And the museums finally drove a new industry–animatronic dinosaur manufacturing.

In fact, the manufacturing of festival lanterns and animatronic dinosaurs share a lot of common technologies. That’s why we provide festival lanterns as well as animatronic dinosaurs.
