Working principle of vortex flowmeter:
(Steam flow meter) If a triangular column vortex generator is installed in the fluid, regular vortices are alternately generated from both sides of the vortex generator. This vortex is called Karman vortex.

Vortex flowmeter product application: Vortex flowmeters are widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, thermal, textile, papermaking and other industries to superheat steam, saturated steam, compressed air and general gases (oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, natural gas, coal gas, etc.) ), water and liquid (such as: water, gasoline, alcohol, benzene, etc.) measurement and control.
Installation conditions:
1. The sensor should be installed on a horizontal, vertical, inclined (liquid flow from bottom to top) pipeline with the same diameter. The upstream and downstream 2 streams of the sensor should be equipped with a certain length of straight pipe section, whose length should meet the requirements of the front straight pipe section 15~20D and the rear straight pipe section 5~1OD.
2. The pipe near where the liquid sensor is installed should be filled with the liquid to be measured.
3. The sensor should avoid installing on the pipeline with strong mechanical vibration.
4. The inner diameter of the straight pipe should be as consistent as possible with the sensor diameter. If it cannot be the same, a pipe slightly larger than the sensor diameter should be used, with an error of ≤3% and no more than 5mm.
5. When the measured medium contains more impurities, a filter should be installed beyond the length required by the upstream straight pipe section of the sensor.
The sensor should be installed in places with strong electromagnetic field interference, small space and inconvenient maintenance.
